1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using VaultQuest (the "App") or any digital services provided by Vellicante Media LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Not an FDIC-Insured Financial Institution

        Important Financial Disclaimer: VaultQuest is an educational simulation tool representing a virtual "Bank of Mom & Dad." Vellicante Media LLC is not a bank, depository institution, money services business, or money transmitter. Funds displayed in VaultQuest are virtual representations of family IOUs. Balances are not insured by the FDIC, NCUA, SIPC, or any governmental agency. Real-world monetary settlements, cash distributions, and purchases are the sole private responsibility of parents and guardians.
      

3. Parental Responsibility & Account Administration

An adult parent or legal guardian ("Parent") must establish the anchor family account. Parents hold administrative authority over:

Setting virtual interest rates, recurring allowance rules, and debit rules.
Approving or declining child spend and deposit requests.
Locking or unlocking savings envelopes with Parent PIN or biometric protection.
Managing child visibility flags across ecosystem applications.

4. Virtual Envelopes & Calculations

Virtual Goal Envelopes allocate funds within a child's authoritative total balance. Interest calculations, such as the Average Daily Balance (ADB) interest engine, are mathematical approximations provided for educational financial literacy purposes. Parents retain the discretion to modify, pause, or catch up interest payouts at any time.

5. Premium Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

VaultQuest provides a free tier and optional premium subscription tiers ("Vault Club" and "Lifetime Membership"):

Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
Ecosystem Loyalty Discounts: Households maintaining an active ChoreQuest Fleet Pass subscription are eligible for special discounted loyalty tiers.
Refunds: Billing and refund requests are handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play support in accordance with platform policies.

6. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

All source code, UI designs, brand marks, and software architecture within VaultQuest are the exclusive intellectual property of Vellicante Media LLC. You are granted a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App for non-commercial family household management.

7. Termination & Account Purging

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Parents may delete their household account and purge all associated child records at any time through in-app settings or web support.
